SECC Project is co-financed by the European Union and Turkish Republic Ministry of Labor and Social Security. SECC is aimed to make STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) education more qualified for gifted students.
Project and Purpose
T.R. It is co-financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey within the scope of the Grant Program for Improving the Quality of Special Education Services for Integrative Education under the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
The overall aim of the project is to contribute to the improvement of the quality of special education services. For this purpose, the project, which focuses on science and art centers, aims to make STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) education more qualified for gifted students.
Target group
The target audience of the project is science, physics, chemistry and biology teachers working in science and art centers. Among these teachers, the participant group consisting of 25 volunteers was determined according to various criteria.
Events
Within the scope of the project, STEM education guides, e-contents and STEM education kits for gifted students will be prepared with our teachers who will participate in various certification trainings and activities.
Center and Online Portal
This center is designed as a structure that aims to ensure that STEM education carried out in science and art centers has certain standards in terms of content quality and pedagogical relevance. This portal provides activities, animations, simulations, research, lesson plans, etc. in the field of STEM education and for gifted students. It is a place for sharing. The portal will remain active after the completion of the project process, allowing our teachers to share their knowledge and experience with each other.
